113 Industries co-founder and President, Anupam Singh, guest lectures on Text Analytics and NLP at Carnegie Mellon University. He has led the vision and development of our ML/AI platform, Jacquard, to model and understand consumer and patient behavior. Our platform combines the best of the academic research on Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and techniques with several years of deep, hands-on experience analyzing unstructured data from digital platforms.

Razi Imam is an accomplished award winning innovator, entrepreneur, and author. He has experience and knowledge of successfully innovating products and services, launching them in competitive markets, and building world-class high-performance teams. He has founded 113 Industries that focuses on helping Fortune 500s such as Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Ocean Spray, and Hershey innovate breakthrough products based on identifying the unarticulated needs of their consumers. In recognition of his entrepreneurial success, Carnegie Science Foundation has presented Razi with their prestigious award honoring Innovation in Science and Technology. He has also been an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University teaching “Innovation and Commercialization” at the Tepper School of Business.
Razi is also the author of DRIVEN, a John Wiley and Sons publication. DRIVEN is about a Sufi concept called Junoon, a hypnotic ability to achieve an impossible goal. His newest book released in April 2020, MASTERS OF THE BROKEN WATCHES, touches on the mystery of time. This book sits at the cross-section of science, global cultures, and action-packed adventure. Jenna is a strategic thought professional who has provided her expertise as lead consultant on more than 50 projects during her time with 113 Industries—where her client partners have ranged from executives at Fortune 500 companies to healthcare providers to advertising agencies. She heads the company’s Insights team and is constantly on the hunt for new technologies to better serve clients.
Her past experience in inventory management and visual merchandising grounds her in each project with the objective of understanding consumer buying behavior from an in-store and online perspective. In all that she does professionally, Jenna is motivated by representing the voice of the consumer through thoughtful and meaningful data collection.

Mackenna Donahue -

Mackenna is a collaborative problem solver who transforms ideas into actions, processes, and outstanding results. The driving force behind client projects at 113, she ensures the successful execution of strategy every step of the way and bridges the gap between research and insights. She also keeps the company running like a well-oiled machine—streamlining systematic processes and workflow, facilitating hiring and training, and continually finding new solutions to promote a positive work environment.
Mackenna brings her talents to 113 from the marketing & advertising world, where she managed multiple client accounts for digital/print campaigns, developed brand standards, and supported event coordination. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations & Advertising/Multi-Platform Journalism from Duquesne University. Mackenna’s greatest joy is seeing things come full circle, and she unabashedly loves Mondays.

As Research Lead, Shad builds search queries to find relevant online data and spearheads detailed analysis to discover the story simmering below the surface.
He brings to 113 over a decade of experience as a researcher and writer—with knowledge of website development, search engine optimization (SEO), branded online content, and social media marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University.
Shad believes the internet can be a source of positivity, connection, and value. Like Edward R. Murrow once said of TV: “This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and even it can inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends.”

Reagan is a CPG professional with over a decade of experience in sales and marketing. Her passion is fueled by collaboration, supporting a vision and fostering it’s growth through meaningful analysis. Her greatest adventure has been bringing a pet food brand to life, a dogged pursuit that went from ideation, to back shelf, to epic journey with a team and retailer committed to its purpose that resulted in launch with sustained market success. Reagan credits her achievements to the leaders that have championed her and shares that there is no greater gift or pursuit than believing in others

Whether it’s been leading retail initiatives as a merchant or consulting Fortune 500 companies on marketing and brand strategy, he’s spent his career working to better understand consumers across a broad range of industries. Michael is fascinated by consumer behavior because it uncovers an array of human insight that can truly lead to more innovative, human-centric solutions and ideas.

Consumer Insights Manager
Sarah has a background in psychology, which she is able to use on a daily basis at work to better understand the consumer for clients. With this knowledge, she has been able to help businesses sell out events and implement brand ambassador programs. In 2018, she was the recipient for Indiana County’s Young ATHENA Award for her community involvement and female enhancement. Not to mention, she serves on the planning board for the Indiana Women in Networking Group and continues to be involved in her local community.
Her favorite quote is, “Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith” by Margaret Shepard, which is something she lives by in her own life. Aside from her love of marketing, she enjoys coffee, cats, and creative people.

Dr. Jimmy Willams -

Distinguished Service Professor, Engineering and Public Policy
Over the course of his career, Dr. Williams has held multiple corporate executive positions in the technology industry.
From 2012, he held the position of Vice President of Global Engineering at Pall Corp where he led a 750-member engineering unit, driving Pall’s global growth initiatives across its Life Science and Industrial Products business. His restructuring efforts resulted in improved product first time acceptance of 25%, introduced Design for Manufacture and Assembly process resulting in $8.0M in savings. He reduced globally replicated work resulting in immediate saving of $3.5M.
Prior to Pall, Dr. Williams spent 10 years with Alcoa, Inc. In his role as Senior Director of Research and Development – Alcoa Technology Advantage, he led all facets of business and technology management, including innovation management, portfolio management, market analysis, product development, project management, engineering design, and production operations.Among his many achievements, he initiated and developed Alcoa’s first integrated defense market strategy and business plan, growing profitable revenue from $50 million to $720 million and positioning the unit for $1 billion in annual sustainable revenue. As a product innovator, Dr. Williams spearheaded a critical assessment of Alcoa’s $2.1 billion aero-structures business leading to a cost-saving fundamental shift in materials options. He also developed a cross-functional, multi-business-unit, multi-vendor product development team that successfully inserted an innovative cosmetic finish into Apple’s Macintosh computer supply chain, and earned the 2002 RoadStar Magazine Most Valuable Product Award for Dura-Bright surface finish wheel application.
Beginning in 1983, Dr. Williams led a nearly 20-year distinguished career at The Boeing Co. where he held a number of significant research and development and program management positions. Among his accomplishments at Boeing, Dr. Williams restructured the company’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology Organization, increased manufacturing flexibility and productivity for next-generation wing drilling, and earned Boeing’s Black Engineer of the Year award in 2001.
