113 is currently hiring for the following positions:

Consumer Insights Manager

The Consumer Insights Manager will support client needs with strategic consulting and marketing research. This will include leading custom research using social analytics and other tools, then applying the findings to inform brand strategy, marketing communications, innovation pipelines, and ad-hoc analyses.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analytics & research of online, social and other provided data sources (category, panel, retail, scan etc.) along with industry reports and trends
  • Extract key information and items of value from vast amounts of data and reports
  • Develop strategic recommendations by uncovering insights like key drivers of growth, product positioning, differentiation, brand health, and consumer engagement to be deployed in projects for marketing, R&D, Innovation, and M&A
  • Build strong relationships through collaboration with internal and external team members as well as lead and manage engagement with specific clients

Functional Skills:

  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple projects across multiple teams
  • Experience in an environment with changing priorities & multiple concurrent projects
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving, including ability to think and react on the spot
  • Strategic thinking including capabilities to assess conflicting information/data, draw conclusions, and envision future business opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence, express a clear point of view, tackle difficult conversations with integrity, and drive positive engagement to successful outcomes
  • Ability to influence through data based recommendations


  • BS/BA in business, marketing, research, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in consumer insights, marketing or innovation at a CPG or Agency
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to extract insights from various data sources and translate into a compelling story with implications and actionable recommendations
  • Preferred experience in:
    • Application of social listening tools (e.g. NetBase, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprinklr)
    • Traditional and modern qualitative and quantitative research techniques in innovation, communication, branding & packaging
    • Multiple categories and industries with specific expertise in Food & Beverages, Beauty, Healthcare, Finance, or Insurance highly desired
